Representation
Women remain underrepresented in the induced proximity and targeted protein degradation space. We exist to change that by making voices louder and opportunities more visible.
Building a stronger, more connected community of women in targeted protein degradation and induced proximity research.
This network strengthens, recognizes, and supports female contributions and leadership in targeted protein degradation, induced proximity, and chemical biology. It provides a platform to enable scientific exchange and global networking amongst women at all career stages and across academia to industry. Members will work together to raise visibility of female conference speakers, panelists, and experts. In addition, we will highlight key research publications, business achievements, and translational milestones achieved and championed by women in our area. This group and LinkedIn page also serves as a bulletin board where we will share information about events, workshops, and in-person get-togethers, and will be used to organize and foster mentor:mentee relationships. We welcome all individuals to join that support this mission and ask members to be respectful, professional, and courteous in their posts.

The field moves fast. We create the touchpoints — meetups, workshops, and informal conversations — that help researchers stay connected across industry and academia.
From early-career trainees to seasoned scientists, we support career growth through mentorship, peer learning, and access to a community that understands the work.
The principles that guide how we operate.
Openness
Science improves when knowledge is shared freely. We prioritize open exchange of ideas, methods, and resources across all career stages.
Inclusion
Every member deserves a welcoming, respectful environment. Our community is built on a culture of support — not competition.
Impact
Induced proximity has transformative potential for medicine. We want to make sure women are central contributors to that story.
Concrete actions that turn mission into reality.
Regular in-person and virtual gatherings — from casual networking nights to focused scientific sessions — keep the community active and engaged.
Structured one-on-one mentorship pairing experienced scientists with trainees navigating career decisions, job searches, and scientific challenges.
A curated, living library of tools, literature, and learning materials relevant to the rapidly evolving induced proximity landscape.
